BCC is a major Dutch electronics retailer offering more than 20,000 products across 63 stores in the Netherlands. As part of the Mirage Retail Group, BCC leverages market insights to quickly adapt to industry trends, ensuring customers always have access to the latest technology.

The challenge.

  • Enhancing product recommendations

    Customers expect personalized product suggestions, such as phone cases and screen protectors when purchasing a new phone. However, manually setting up these recommendations for thousands of products was not feasible.

  • Providing relevant alternatives

    When customers are unsure about which product to choose, they expect alternative options to be displayed. Ensuring that relevant alternatives are offered across all product categories posed a significant challenge.
